Since January 2012, we’ve added the IOC scanner, the newest digital, powder-free orthodontic impression technology, to our practice. With the IOC scanner, the conventional uncomfortable and disgusting impression will be long gone. Our patients do not need to suffer the notorious goop, gagging anymore.

The IOC scanner is fully linked to the Invisalign aligners production. The accuracy and fitting of IOC scanner-generated aligners are far better than the traditional PVS impression-generated aligners. The unique features of confocal scanning enables the IOC scanner to produce Invisalign aligners in a much shorter time than the traditional PVS impression-generated aligners. The shorter turnaround allows our Invisalign patients to experience a quicker, more convenient, and pleasant orthodontic treatment.
